im playing adventure mode at the min and im just wondering how do i wrestle? i get the basics but when i try to do a takedown or something it just comes up with a notice saying adjusting grip and also how did i break limbs? and gouge out eyes muaha ^^

Related to throwing and takedowns, you are too weak, or the creature's too big. To eyegouge you have to grab the head with an empty hand. To break, you have to grab a joint, lock it, and break it.

Yes, as TMoM said, you adjust your grip when you are too weak/small/unskilled to do the move properly.

There is a slight random factor involved. I used to wrestle with my adventurers and sometimes I would get the adjusting grip message the first 2 or 3 times, then I would make the grip and be able to pull off whatever horrible move I was using at the time.
