Does Pluto even HAVE surface goodies?

Frozen methane ponds. Other organics and metals from comets and meteorites. Although most of this would likely be accessible in layers right below the surface.

Also note that fortresses built in the side of Pluto that faces Charon would have some funky physics. The barycenter of Pluto-Charon is outside either body, so you could have a garbage dump floating above the surface. :o

I wonder, what would they do if someone killed their king.
Inevitable, who cares. Now an onion...

Woosh i have an idea.
Try making an incredibly fast growing plant that is composed of a material that evaporates in a temperature above the underground fixed temp. Set the surface temp to higher than underground temp and watch as the plant sprouts and evaporates all over the surface. Gonna test it out.

Edit: Never mind. It doesn't work as the plants are unaffected by temp while growing.

So many great ideas, but so hard to implement!!

My idea is that the surface of pluto is made of a material that emits a miasma like gas at certain times of the year, so that you could delve underground in the first couple of seasons, and then have to stay underground until the miasma passed.

I was thinking the miasma could be modded to make the dwarf so unhappy he would instantly go insane(but since i'm still kinda a noob, I don't know if that would work.) ::)
