hey im just wondering how do i sell artifacts? cause i have a gold battle axe which is kinda useless for a fight but is worth a good amount of cash ^_^

It is not possible to sell artifacts in Fortress mode.

you can "trade" artifacts for lots and lots of kobold stuff. Recommended if you notice your kobolds have access to steel equipments.

Kobolds always have access to all metals due to a bug of sorts - they aren't explicitly allowed access to any metals (lacking [STONE_PREF] means they can't use metals smelted directly from ores, and lacking any permitted reactions means they can't make alloys), so the game allows them to use all metals (other than adamantine, since that's a [DEEP] material) as a sort of failsafe.
