Difference between dwarf mode and gameplay questions?

I've been around for a couple months, and I'm still not sure
is there any distinction between these two sections, besides one being 7.0 and another being 11.0?
I mean, seriously, I tend to just go to both parts of the forum for exactly the same thing

The question thread is more asking questions about gameplay, will the discussion is more asking questions about other people's gameplay and relating.

There is some difference but not a huge amount.

You can cross post between them and get away with it if you really wanted :P
