Apparently the many carp of Dwarf Fortress have legs. After all,

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

You can only have 1 "standing" creature on a tile. The others have to lie down, and whn the square is clear they stand up.

But yeah, generic message = funny moment.

I had a vulture standing up in midair. With one wing.
Yeah crazy shit happens.
I used that vulture later to kill elves.
