Other Food Stores?

Hey guys, 200/500 of my food stores are classified under "other".
I noticed I have a lot of turtles in the stockpile, but the wiki says those are classified as fish. My fish stores are "none".

I want to know what I'm doing right so I can keep doing it.

Are they raw turtles, maybe?

And "Other" can include prepared meals.

I haven't made any prepared meals yet, but all of my fish are raw.

Dwarves won't eat raw fish, build a fishery and enable fish cleaning on a dwarf other than the fisher, and the fish will be made edible.
