Best Clonk mods
« on: October 21, 2010, 09:14:21 am »

I finally bought Clonk Rage and I've been playing it quite a bit. However I want to ask others that have it what the best mods are. The only two I have are Hazard and the Economic Expansion mod. (Economic Expansion is mostly in German but still cool)

I've got Planet and Endeavour, both of which are supposed to come with the Knights mod. Great way to fight a war. The only reason I don't write a guide to warring is simply because of never having played an online game of Clonk(got plenty of ideas on how it would go). I think I'd suck playing online :-[...

Especially given how utterly worthless the UDP protocol was in Planet and Endeavour.
I'd consider yourself lucky if you could even get an online game started.

That's virtually what Rage is.  Endeavour with an actual internet protocol.
You don't need to buy it if the server host has.

That and it has much better controls.

I beg to differ.  The Classic controls make more sense to me given the game's style then the Jump N' Run ones do.

Except..  The only thing that has really changed in the graphics department is contour shading on edges.

Fine that and an actual main-menu.
