Bridge not being supported by wall
« on: January 13, 2008, 07:12:00 pm »

Deconstructed a bridge that was connected to another bridge that was connected to walls. As soon as the first bridge was deconstructed, the second bridge was destroyed. Got a bad movie (The timing really changes. I normally have 20ish FPS, the movie's at 100 FPS.) and a save file.

All right, I've downloaded it and I'll take a look at some point.

Okay, I've fixed this problem.  Bridges that subsequently got constructions placed next to them weren't being fastened to them.

Hooray!  That's been around since 33a, actually.  I never thought to report it as a bug.  It'll be nice to be able to use bridges as scaffolding since, unlike constructions, the materials move to the nearest surface rather than straight to the ground upon deconstruction (I've lost several blocks and other materials to the ocean floor that way).

Hmm.  I suppose while you're at it you can make deconstruction work the same way, placing materials on an adjacent surface when possible rather than plummeting to the ground below.
