This is a common issue with my haulers and diners. Especially cage trappers, very often they have to do distant hauling and they pick up a suitable object cloest to them, bring it all the way to destination while there' usually a provided stockpile right next to the destination. Restricting zone in this case is counter-intuitive because the stockpile they pick up from is a frequently-used dropoff stockpile for workshops. A prime example of this is diners. Usually, processed food and booze are in the dining hall but quite often they go grab some rotatable stuff from the to-be-processed pile outside.

Suggestion: When choosing a hauling object, they take the one nearest to destination.
Pros: Improve working efficiency, potentially reduce pathing time.
Cons: Having to cache more pathing data (should be no issue, tbh)
