Doors not built with rocks on site

Doors cannot be built on top of rocks.  When building a door, dwarves should move rocks instead of saying "cannot reach site" and suspending construction.  This bug may also have to do with doors being built diagonally.

I reported the same thing but with my diagonaly dug tomb. Dwarves don't know (yet) how to move rocks diagonaly when they are building something. You'll need to move the rock manually somehow to be able to build whatever you have in mind.

Best way is to make a dump designation beside it and just select that rock for dumping.

yea, and its been both reported and acknowledged, and is on the bug list:

000671 □ [dwarf mode][jobs][building construction and destruction]    (Report) building sites aren't cleared if the only open squares are on diagonals
