Wagons in Adventure Mode
« on: October 09, 2010, 05:52:25 pm »

The upcoming adventure mode updates got me thinking of a sort of cowboy style adventurer who I would play like an episodic TV show or something. Take jobs as they come, get into and out of trouble, die horribly.

Like Firefly!

So then I was thinking about how the AI of your party could possibly be increased eventually, where you could have personal conflicts and drama that wouldn't *always* end in bloodshed. Make your party more important and engaging NPC characters.

Then I started thinking about the party of adventurers riding around in a wagon. So how about wagons in adventure mode! I think they'd be cool.

I'd love to go around, selling elf bone crafts to humans and dwarves alike.
Now to think of it, that sounds awesome!

My final adventure mode aspirations are to either make something like Firefly or participate in a grand plot on the level of LotR. And I can't do that without wagons!!!

Yeah, Firefly. Avoiding the humans, which are ruled by Demons, and selling illegal goods. All to get just a bit more food.

I believe ToadyOne already intends to add wagons, for the Trader role.

If we get wagon's we're going to need something to pull them for us, and for realism somehow be more likely to be attacked during fast travel.

Maybe I'll get a feature film!
