EDIT: What an idiot. I was looking at the other abandoned fortress. Because not telling us that there was another abandoned fortress makes perfect sense.

Go to fortress mode. Hit 'r' to reclaim. Use - and + to scroll up and down. Then come back, look me in the eye, and say that it is a fresh world.

(It's called Boatfocus, by the way.)
