Oh btw, after posting that, I found out how to tell whether they're selling or buying.

White text = You're selling it
Yellow text = They're pawning it

Also I gave up and just took the 'Game Over'. Feels kinda cheaty to have all this money and upgrades at day 2, but eh, it was starting to not be fun going through 20 levels of dungeon just to fail the deadline again. Doing much better this time, especially now that I have time to curry more favour with the NPCs. :)

Edit: Okay. Which of these items don't qualify as "metal"? They all look metal to me...

The Silver Gauntlet is counted as something else if I remember right.  Yeah I know it's weird.  But if someone wants metal don't give them any silver items.

Unless of course they don't fit properly and your feet blister up like bubble wrap.
Oh ho ho, but don't try to return the shoes, because they won't take them back once you've worn them.
Especially if that fat pig Tony is at the desk.

Metal = Iron/steel items
Precious = Silver/Pearl/Gold

Therefore silver gauntlet is not a Metal item.

Aha! Thanks for that. I was wondering what qualified as "precious" too. Useful tip is useful. :3

I think the crystal sword gets stuck in that category too and some amulets
