Whenever I end up fighting some legendary beast the game decides it's a good idea to announce it 5000 times during the fight which gets really annoying since I have to stop what ever I'm doing to press enter 30 times then space out.

Are you trying to hide from it?

It could be partially blind as well, since if it cannot see you, it disengages aggression, then when it finds you again, it re-announces itself. Or somesuch thing.

No not trying to hide and even when it's eyes where fully intact it happened.

It seems legendary enemies just like to announce who they are. I once fought a bronze colossus (for about 30 minutes, than I drowned) and every 20 seconds or so his "I r legendary" panel would pop up and annoy me. It seems to be somehow attached to the number of hits you do to the enemy (comes up especially fast if you just hold the direction key towards him and don't even get the messages any more (because it's going so fast).
