DF3113 Overhaul: Cerria
« on: September 25, 2010, 06:12:17 am »

Spoiler: DevLog (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: To do List (click to show/hide)
Introduction
Cerria is the land I created between January 2009 and September 2010, which was to be used in the 3D-turned-2D MMORPG MyWorld. Due to a change of my lifeplan, I've had to abandon this endeavour. After recently finding out that I actually have just over 12 months or so before I can join the Royal Navy proper, I decided to find myself a hobby, thus this mod.
Cerria will be a complete remake. New species, new creatures, new plants, new everything. Keeping the basics such as the stone, and such.

Thousands of new fauna/flora to choose from
Of course, using them all would be bloody insane and a waste of time and resources, thus the "possibly" thousands, whereas I'll use just a portion of that amount.

- Bow-bladed Halberd
- T-headed Longaxe

- Spear-thrower (tool)
- Throwing Spears + Throwing Tridents (w/barbed counterparts)
- Quarterstaff
- Three/two -pronged Trident (w/barbed counterpart)
- Tri-nunchaku
- Nine o'tails whip

New Armours
Headplate (Ghul)
Kilt
Full Plate
Half Plate
Cascaded Plate

Sounds like it could be interesting, Adventure mode would have a nice feel to it... But what about Dwarf Mode, how are the Sieges and stuff???

Well naturally, there aren't any "Aggressive main civs". I'm sure we could have some land-hungry Ghul, seeing as they are rather warfare-orientated. Or, simply make some sub-tribal creatures into siegers.

Yeehs... Yeehs, that would work...

My god; this Modding Section fills so fast! I didn't update for one day, and it was pushed half-way down Page 3! Insane.

I'm thinking of having a release once I've finished the Ghul language, or after I've added some fauna/flora. Thoughts?

Been busy all day, havn't had a chance to do any work on Cerria. Free day tomorrow though, so I'll get some junk done, then. :]

You didn't intend to include download links, correct?

Do the tomes and other literature-based items record events or images?

There isn't a download yet, still making it... playable. Enjoyable.

As for the recording tomes, that'd be awesome. I wonder if there's a way to do that. Will look into it now. :)
