It seems that building destroyers won't touch raiased drawbridges.  And I've noticed that they'll go out of their way to destroy doors and other buildings, even if they aren't in the path.

So what happens when a (non-flying) building destroyer meets a lowered drawbridge, or an extended retractable bridge?

I've noticed that if it's providing their path, they won't destroy it, either retractable or raised. I've seen a few come across the bridge and seek out other buildings to pound on.

I've never seen a single bridge get smashed up in any 31.xx DF, whether raised or lowered.

They will destroy floor grates, though. If you're worried about an incoming buildingdestroyer, provide grates over a moat. He'll destroy the grate, realize he has no way to get to you, and go "FML."

I just found that out. Grates are a lot quicker to build, but not as useful if you're trying to lure them in.
