Fewer soil layers and more sedimentary.

I'm wondering how I'd go about making fewer soil layers appear and have more sedimentary rocks appear instead.  I can't figure out how to do it without just removing soil layers.

Any ideas?

Gen medium worlds. You hardly ever get two z levels of soil.
