dfcleanmap on Linux
« on: September 23, 2010, 12:54:35 pm »

So, I downloaded and compiled dfhack for Linux. I tried dfcleanmap to get rid of the FPS-killing splatter. However, it stops with an error message:
Code: [Select]
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'DFHack::Error::NoProcess'
what():  couldn't find a suitable process

The game is loaded and paused. I'm using 0.31.13.

Pretty sure they're Windows-only.

No, I got dfhack to work on linux. Not sure what that error is though.

However, dfcleanmap does not reduce the amount of data the df processes, and will probably do nothing to your fps.
