I'm attempting to make a custom build adventurer, but he needs the name to go with it. His name shall be Max Fightmaster, but only if I can add in words to last name generation, which I do not know how to do. Any help would be appreciated.

You can add words that Dwarf Fortress recognizes by altering the language_words.txt file and adding new entries.

For example:

[WORD:MASTER]
   [NOUN:master:masters]
      [FRONT_COMPOUND_NOUN_SING]
      [REAR_COMPOUND_NOUN_SING]
      [THE_NOUN_SING]
      [REAR_COMPOUND_NOUN_PLUR]
      [OF_NOUN_PLUR]
   [VERB:master:masters:mastered:mastered:mastering]
      [STANDARD_VERB]

Then, alter the other language files which have names in the pattern of "language_racename.txt" to include a reference to that word.

For example, in language_DWARF.txt, add this:

[T_WORD:MASTER:nuul]

 - the translation in dwarven can be any random dwarfy-sounding word. It can even be

[T_WORD:MASTER:master]
