HFS upon embark? Spoilers

This has never happened before, and I'm not using any revealer tools because the map is mostly unrevealed except for the HFS area and bits and pieces of the layers above it...

Either way, the demons have started generating and I got the announcement as soon as I got to the site...is this supposed to be possible? I can clearly SEE the adamantite vein that was punctured, but I didn't do the puncturing. I haven't done any digging at all. Has this happened for anyone else?

Map please.

There's one other recorded instance of this happening. That one wasn't repeatable, it was simply a glitch.

This is .13. I tinkered with the advanced settings for world generation, upping Min. Volcanism and upping the XY variances for volcanism. Upon closer examination, the first announcement is about a cavein, so that would explain it.
