Perhaps that's nothing new and they are just leftovers from past versions i don't know of? I started playing during 40d after all.

Damn! I've just yesterday thought about modding new syndrome to zombie bite, which turns the bitten into zombie too, but got confused with all those mod tokens... Is it possible to mod such effect?

You get used to it, I don't even see the ASCII.  All I see is blacksmith, miner, goblin.
