Ridiculously huge number of adamantine blocks needed to

I needed something along the lines of 30 adamantine blocks to make a 10x3 bridge. It seems pretty ridiculous.

I dont see how this is a bug report.
[Metal blocks/bars always count as just one tile. Generally, you need 6 steel bars/blocks to cross the lava flow.]

Adamantine generally takes 3x the metal.  It should take 9 units to make a statue for instance.  An adamantine bridge is incredibly decadent.  If metal gets finer gradations, it'll take more of those too.  This isn't plausible until re-stacking is in, but it would be good for adventurers to grab individual gold bars and so on.
