Summary of the first game

We won, quite decisively but only 1-0.

Hugehead took a beating and is wounded. (will miss the next game)

Mephansteras scored the touchdown.

Kirby dropped the ball.

Sheb was the MVP (not sure why? humping the ref?).

Mephansteras got the most 'yards' towards the enemy touchdown line.

Bronzebottom made the most blocks.

Fan Factor is now 5 stars (about 1/3 from maximum)

We are too poor to hire anyone else yet, and we are 1 player down for the next game.... o noes...

Currently The Baywatchers are ranked 1st in group 1 (with 1 win)

Looked like a good game played fairly well. My only real quibble is that runners should, if at all possible, be the only Dwarves handling the ball. The other positions' low agility and lack of re-rolls is a recipe for a poorly timed turnover due to a flubbed pick-up. Because runners are the only players capable of effective ball handling, it's generally a good idea to keep them from geting involved in tackles but their (relatively) high mobility makes them great at maneuvering to provide tackle support.

I'm glad I managed to make a difference (and crack a few skulls) and it's good to know Mephansteras didn't get hit with something career-ending this early in the LP season.

I would appreciate it if you were to track the star player points of each player that has them in the first post so that I can obsess over the team in greater detail.

@HD yeah i always try to use runners to pick the ball up, is why I got 2, but sometimes they just arent in a good position to do so. I made a few mistakes this game, and it cost us. Hopefully I wont do the same again

Yeah, dwarves cap out at average agility and that's just for the runners. It's far easier to smash through a line than dodge around it.
