Once i got a FB that was literally a large elk bird... I think a crundle killed it...

I'm starting to wonder if FBs were nerfed for this version or something.  Another one invaded the local bat man tribe, and another battle ensued where the FB got completely toasted.  This time its deadly dust caused all of the bat men to start rotting, however, so they're joyfully sitting in clouds of miasma.  Poor Warosp Ostnubpo Atac should've known better than to mess with the batman too.  Red beryl humanoid or no, he still stood no chance.

I actually just got a pain-in-the-ass FB...it had the ability to generate some kind of boiling steam, so every time my dwarves tried to attack it they would be blown back and stunned.  It didn't hurt anybody, to be honest, but it took a random marksdwarf from the caravan to kill it because I had no ranged troops.

Time to diversify my troops, methinks.

This thing was only slightly less pathetic, but it still got waxed quick by the local batman tribe in the caves.  It didn't even injure one of said batmen.  Then again, it should have had enough sense not to tangle with the batman.

Of course he didn't injure them, they're the goddamned batmen.

i had a fire FB that was owned by a pack of dogs

good thing temperature was off

another sad part was that half the fight was underwater

I had a ash blob FB with 2 tails and it killed 3 dwarves but was taken down by a armorer who lost his wife to this thing and all he did was pull it's skin off.  Then another one was a humanoid made of vomit with stubby horns and a deadly spittle that threw ice that caused dizziness. All it did was have almost off its body parts punched off and strangled one of my wrestlers to death before it died because of a punch to the head.
