Magma

I fell into a magma sea and have been swimming around for a while now, and ive been healing from the previous wounds i had. Im using Genisis. Why am i still alive  :o

DF Philosophy?  i.e. Magma cures all.

(Except for drowning, it seems.  Although normally I wouldn't have expected that to be a problem.)


Alternately, does certain (blue-stuff) armour convey magma resistance, and are you wearing any?

I was wearing the default armor i was given, which for some reason was silver. I just drowned, but with lesse injuries then orignially.

My second (and probably final) thought, then...  Effects of temperature turned off in .INI?

Sorry, not experienced enough in Adventure to know much about Genesis.
