Stop grass from being killed?
« on: September 12, 2010, 04:05:12 am »

I'm honestly pretty sick of seeing my jungle embark turn into a desert just because seven dwarves decide to walk around it!

Is there any way to change the rate at which grass/terrain changes ? I'm much more a fan of grass and such.

Or perhaps, turn it off completely.

If you light it all on fire, at least it will be entirely desert, instead of half jungle, half desert.

Or maybe there's a god who's just completely insane and sends you to Detroit, Michigan in a new body if you ever utter the name "Pat Sajak".

You could try specifying the GRASSTRAMPLE value for the dwarf entry, assuming it still does something in .31. GRASSTRAMPLE:0 would turn it off entirely. This must be specified for each individual creature, however.
