Adv mode- putting on

When i got to a nearby town with my dwarf i have bought a plate mail. the point is, I can't put it on! I know it is a bug because i could put on various bracelets and amulets. even if I remove stating armor(just clothes) i can't put on new one!

Could it be that the armour you bought is a large version made for humans? In that case it wouldn't fit your small dwarf. I'm not sure if different clothing sizes exist in adventure mode, so if they don't, disregard this.

yeah. I've removed everything.

i didn't know that size of items actually exist in DF, if yes then i must go kill some goblins i think   :D

No, killing goblins won't work, since they wear narrow clothing and armor.

You can get good gear off of dwarves who join your party then subsequently get killed.  If you abandon a fortress in the same world first, the dwarves from that fortress can be found throughout the world, wearing the gear the did at the time of abandonment (steel, etc.).  Or you can visit the fortress itself to grab whatever was left behind.
