Most valuable non-artifact item you've made?
« on: September 06, 2010, 10:16:22 am »

Well, I recently had a legendary blacksmith make a masterwork gold statue (worth 9000) that I decorated with gems just so I could say that my statue was worth OVER 9000! dwarfbucks.  I'd try again with an aluminum statue, but I'm saving my few ores of that for later.  How valuable is the most valuable "mundane" thing in your fort?

EDIT: wait, how did I end up posting this here? I was just on the fortress mode discussions forum... How do you move topics?

This fortress is turning into some kind of supervillain lair or something.
You do remember that you've been farming gigantic wingless dragon-fish for profit and Fun, right?

You can make food worth over 20,000 dwarf bucks per stack.
