I have devised a drowning chamber that can fill with water, drain into a hatch, and drain into a grate, leaving all useful items behind.
Things needed:
Mechanisms(Six)
Aquifer
About a 4x4 room.
Stream, river, brook, etc.
Floodgate (Wall grate[Optional])
Hatch(of course)
Door
G=Grate H=Hatch F=floor o=Floodgate D=Door L=Lever
_____Layer A(preferably 1z below ground level)

INSTRUCTIONS:
Hook up one lever to the floodgate, the other to the hatch. As soon as invaders/migrants/whathaveyou appears, forbid the door and keep it tightly closed. ONLY PULL THE LEVER TO THE FLOODGATE! Wait until the trespassers die, close up the floodgate, activate the hatch. The vortex will suck in any and all items. It may take a little bit for the corpses to decay, but once they do, you can take it all. Then, you can:
-Melt goblinite
-Store clothes for future generations
-Use weapons in weapon traps.
-Take the stolen merchandise.

Lengthy process, but well worth it. You can add a trade depot in for extra Fun! If you can't find stone in an aquifer area, just bring it!

Cool,i made floor bars to pool blood beside my grinder but it didnt work.
