Journal entry 1st Granite
I was busy piecing together some sort of training spear room. It was a bit dangerous, really. but at least i don't have to train in them...
dangint why can't they get a mechanic to do thi-

"Hey, Iceball?"
ice: "Yeah?"
"Our previous overseer left, he told me to give this to you."
ice: "what is this- a note?"

And i read it...
Quote
1st granite:
So my time as overseer is over.
"It's up to you now."

Iceball3 "..."

2nd entry, 5th of granite
Oh dear, my great happiness didn't last long, well because...

I had to get someone on exclusive brewing right away.

on other news i have the previous overseer to digging out the graves for our fallen dwarves so far.

I hope all will go well...

Oh well. And you killed one of our starting miners. And broke one of my arms and legs.
Well, it's up to you now. Make sure to complete the cavern tower before any bugbats get in.
Oh and i forgot to mention, your dead, I'm making the coffins now.

I'll do next year, if that's cool.

Warning note: I'm having a small bit of trouble with files. I'll probably be fine, but I may not be able to download it.

I'm not sure if that was an accident... :P
Sysice, it's the first person to post and download after the save has been posted. It's a pain if you want to join, but it (should) keep things rolling smoothly.

I will also be joining in if that is okay. If I ever get a turn.

It's probably made from baby bone, with a handle of baby leather. Probably uses the leg bones wound together for the handle, the pelvis for the handle/pick joint, and the pick is the spine.

But that's all in theory, of course. Not like I've made a pick out of my own 5 month old baby before.
