Removing rotting from food?

So... is there a way to do this? Keep meat, cheese, and prepared meals from rotting?

With meat and cheese, you might try removing [ROTS] from the material template raws for cheese, muscles and other organs. I never actually tried it though.

Not sure about prepared meals.
