One of my dwarves just finished a fey mood and made Rimtarzeber, Castlesmoulder, an iron crown.

"This is an iron crown. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. It is decorated with Pig tal and encircled with bands of Jet, cave spider silk and turtle shell. This object menaces with spikes of iron. On the item are images of dwarves in iron. On the item are images of groundhogs in Turquoise. On the item are images of dwarves in Aquamarine. On the item are images of rat weed in green glass."

So one of my dwarves just went and made The Iron Crown. It even has an appropriate name and three gemstones (not quite Silmarils, but still...). I'm worried that the Dark Lord is going to invade now    

Side note: that thing's worth $73,200 all on its own -- more than all other worn/held items in my entire 130 dwarf fortress combined.

Somehow, I doubt that Sauron had a crown with groundhog engravings on it.

Morgoth had the iron crown, not Sauron.
