Naw the colors arn't appropriate either. Well unless your a steriotypical man (according to evil sexist statistics)

Basically the person took an ordinary pair of markers and then pasted a lable on them to change the name

For example if Air (Dioxygen) was included they would pick blue. Despite the fact that I believe Oxygen isn't a flat blue.

If they HAVE to do this I'd want the color to be as appropriate as possible!
I'm pretty sure air isn't just 'dioxygen'. From what we've seen anyway, the colors match up pretty well. Copper sulfate, for example, is blue. They likely just avoid colorless chemicals altogether. The entire point of it is to have the colors match up.

And you're wrong, oxygen is a 'flat blue'... when liquid.

Unless you're actually being sarcastic which seems pretty likely in hindsight! Oh well.

From what a teacher told me the O2 is called "Air" despite the air around us being a composition of many elements and molecules.

As for color I mean the EXACT color match. For example Iron wouldn't be grey it would be under I think Metalic Grey.

Copper sulfate also is a different shade of blue rather then being just blue I think, though I could be tainted because it is transluscent

Then it should be a translucent crayon, and allow light to partially shine through whatever you draw it on.

Air is blue mainly because of nitrogen and distant ozone if memory serves me right.

I really want that one as a "when". I want "grubs", and "virgin woman" to turn into a dragon. and monkey children to suddenly sprout wings. And I want the Dwarven Mutant Academy to only gain their powers upon reaching puberty. I also have a whole host of odd creatures that only make sense if I divide them into children and adults.

Also, tadpoles.

If you mean the sky then it's light diffraction in the atmosphere.

Thats enough of the "i hate the young" theme for me for now.
