How well will my cpu handle a mature 60 dwarf fort?

My cpu speed is 2612.0 MHz so will that have any impact on a mature DF fort?

I would imagine it would depend on the brand as well... my i7 (2.66gHz) can handle up to about 120 till it starts to drop under 30, but the card has also been shrunk because it's a laptop... I would imagine it would work quite well.

It also has 4 cores and 4 logic processors.Will that make a difference on FPS?because I think DF dosen't use logic processors and only uses 1 core.

It will, if only because it will run the os on another core. But I'm curious, what is your processor?
Also the fgl setting will impact your fps hugely.

I can't find the info that tells me what my processor is D:

But windows proformance infomation gives it a 7.2 out of .7.9 that's all I know.
