you're just talking nonsense now. you do give him the shell, though, when you get out, he exclaims in surprise, "what? you're not some sort of strange air-breathing zora?"  you respond with a well deserved "zosaywhatnow?" you teach him how to use the shell, but then when you try to inject him, he exclaims "wait! how do you know it's compatible with hylian DNA?"
