Question about an arena to make "Unfortunate Accidents"
« on: August 16, 2010, 06:27:20 am »

I am making an arena to make my migrants fight each other now I just have a few questions

1:Will my migrants (In military of course) attack eachother if ordered to?
2:Will my dwarfs that go to kill the useless migrants be classed as enemies even though they killed a migrant who is classed as an enemy?
3:Will my surviving migrants (being marked as an enemy to the civ and all that) attack any dwarfs?

1) Didn't try, probably not
2) Yes. People have used 3d party DF utilities, to get dwarves to attack other dwarves. When this happens, the killing dwarf gets classed as an enemy of your civ, and all dwarves from your fort will be hostile to him. This leads to a spiral of death, because, even though your dwarf is now an enemy of your civ, he is also still part of your civ.. So... When some dwarf kills him, that dwarf consequently becomes an enemy of your civ.. etc. etc... Dead Fortress
