Since a bunch of people are doing it, i thought maybe i could try. this RTD is going to be in a fantasy setting where you all are people at the equator of the world, in the city of Fuardista, decided to embark on an adventure of sorts.
a 1d6 will be used and as most other RTD, 6 will be overshoot/crit success, and 1 would be crit failure. it depends on the situation.
combat will roll both people, adding/subtracting from the roll depending on magic effects, injury effects, or the environment. weapons, skill, and most of all the other factors don't determine the roll, but are really heavy on the outcome
the only thing that an archery roll determines is accuracy, affected by environment and injuries. it is rolled against first by spot checks, then by dodge/block checks. it can still be completely deflected by armor on a perfect roll
luck will or will not be involved based on a 1d100. this is handled by reliance on luck if you roll below than your reliance yeild your luck will be rolled on 12 random. your reliance depends on if you acknowledge/dismiss superstitions, or frequently roll below/above your reliance yeild. luck rolls themselves are affected by things like...
previous rolls: 5-8 will not affect the next luck roll. 2-4 will add +1 to the next roll and 8-10 will reduce it by 1. 10-12 will reduce next roll by 2, while 0-1 will induce a 2+ bonus to the next roll.
good/bad luck charms: wearing at least one of thes will increase your reliance yeild by 20. bad luck charms reduce your luck on turns with 1d2, 1 will void the efffect of said charm during that turn. good luck charms will only apply their effect on the turn the player wants to use it. it does not affect your luck bonuses during the next turn unless more than 3 are used st once. doing so will increase the reliance yeild for the next turn to 100 and subtract 1 from next turns luck roll for every bonus unit gained from this method. good luck charms need to recharge for 2 updates before used again
outside forces: some various things, black cat, etc. may affect your luck in weird ways.
