Noble room requirements
« on: August 10, 2010, 10:05:51 am »

Do dining rooms, bedrooms, and offices need to be separate or can the zones be [q]ed off of their respective objects in the same room to satisfy all of the needs and have one high quality room to satisfy all three?

In d40, rooms could overlap- but there would be a negative modifier to the room quality. So you might have to engrave the floor/walls to shove an office and a dining room together (as an example).

They can be all one room....but if they overlap it starts to spread the quality over the separate rooms....so if you have a room with a chair valued at 300 and you make it a bedroom/dining room/office the value will be split among each room....so if 300 value made a room legendary they would all be 1/3rd of that (prolly regular or a little above or something....)
