Armor system and bugs

With the armor system using the size and permit values to determine what can be work couldn't they be adjusted to help cut down on lots of issues with equipping ones armies?

I do not know how to mod enough to know what to mod exactly but if someone were adjust the size/permit values of armor and all to be realistic (mail, plate, and cape vs the current system of 3 chain mails, a plate and 7 capes etc) couldn't this possibly help with not only equipping armies but also making the combat system more reliable?

just an idea I spose...anyone have any ideas on this?

You can edit the size/permit stuff in your raws (item_armor.txt, item_gloves.txt, item_helms.txt etc. in \raw\objects\) and try to find nice values yourself :P
