Dwarves sleeping in other people's beds?
« on: August 08, 2010, 03:44:10 am »

I seem to be finding my dwarves sleeping in the beds of other people, despite the fact that I have them all assigned to a bed. Anyone have any idea why this is happening? Or is it an outstanding bug?

Married dwarves and their children will occasionally sleep in the same bed. Even at the same time.

Children will go get their own rooms if they can afford them. I don't think married couples decide to get separate rooms.

Its more then that. Its a bug. Dorf no longer respect bedrooms ownership, and will sleep where ever.

The down side is that dorfs with bedroom requirements will get bad thoughts for not doing so.

On a related note, the olivine doors we made for the bedrooms have the gem icon rather than the + icon...

On the upside you can do with just a few bedrooms and make them all legendary if you also got a legendary dinning room your dwarfs will be almost unable to trantrum at all.
