(I own the game, so downloading a 'crack' is perfectly legal from a legal standpoint.)
What's a virus free way to play the Sims 3/Sims 3 Ambitions without the CD? I bought it off Impulse, but it's asking me to insert the CD when Impulse does NOT ship, usually.

It's likely that if you check on Impulse's forums, there'll be a fix for this.

You purchased a game off of a digital download service and it wants a CD? I suggest contacting their support before you download anything.
Many cracks are virus free, you just have to know where to look for them.

There's a really good Miniloader [Or something] about..
I advise using that.. It's like a Crack, and it works for me..

I'd offer more advise.. But yeah. Have you tried Cracking it?
