Quote from: Wikipedia
The standard form of a limerick is a stanza of five lines, with the first, second and fifth usually rhyming with one another and having three feet of three syllables  each; and the shorter third and fourth lines also rhyming with each other, but having only two feet of three syllables. The defining "foot" of a limerick's meter is usually the anapaest, (ta-ta-TUM), but limericks can also be considered amphibrachic (ta-TUM-ta).
If you don't understand meter or find it too difficult, you needn't worry too much, but one should at least try to get the number of syllables per line correct. In this case it is 9, 9, 6, 6, 9.

I spent about 15 minutes working on one and gave up. I'm tired, and after giving this short lecture on the subject I don't want to post one without perfect form.

Why does my adventurer keep crying?
Greiger's is actually correct...  sadly enough.  The emotional circumstance processor is still turned on, with a randomly rolled up personality, but they can't express themselves or take control...  they can only cry.

There once was a noble named Led,
Whose legs never ceased to be spread,
'Twas all she was worth,
Each year she'd give birth,
And idly demand to be fed.

One settler abroad smugly said,
"We'll turn this whole mountain to bread!"
He embarked at dawn,
With some dimple cup spawn,
It wasn't long 'ere he was dead.

The mortar a mason was sticking,
The dinner clock rapidly ticking,
His work was too hasty,
His mind, on the tasty,
Left him encased in the bricking.

A speardwarf from within the earth,
Set out for his share of the mirth,
Said he "Elves? A disgrace!"
"To be stabbed in the face."
"Show me a wooden sword's worth!"
