Hey, all

I have been out of the loop for a long, long time while I work on a community fort, and Dwarf Fortress - both the old version and the new, feel weird and alien to me.  I'm sure I've seen something regarding this somewhere else, but I haven't turned up anything searching through the forums, so I hoped someone could dredge up the answer to this.

In the old 40d version, is there any way at all to get pets to wear armor?  Like, can you have war dogs wearing small plate?  Or is that just a pipe dream?

I wish.

I'm drawing all the war animals in my graphics set with armor,
just in the hopes that some day that'll happen. Or more like,
just because it makes them look totally awesome. = P

But yeah, apart from modding them a new layer of steel skin,
I don't think that's really supported yet...

Yeah, that's what I thought.  There's some weird memory I have of reading a post here on how to do it, but I doubt it exists.

I think it was my Hope, creating something that will never, ever exist.

I know you can give them learning or something,
so they can gain skills and level up their attributes.

But I don't think they can wear things.
