So... how do I run it? Since I use a Mac, and need Terminal for DF, I assume it's similar to Therapist?

This is a really bad problem with Macs. I think they hate anything that isn't already on your computer.

So any suggestions from Mac users on a decent dwarf manager application?  I have only found one and it seems really outdated. :/

Just tried to build a well. I build a channel from a pool to where i wanted it and it just ended up flooding me. So any tips on building a well would be nice.

You need to read about water pressure on the wiki. Short answer: use a lever-operated door/floodgate to shut off the water supply once your reservoir (for your well) is filled. That or calculate your reservoir to be big enough to take in the whole pool without overflowing.

Congrats, Psieye. This is the first time I've seen a derailed thread get put back on the rails.

I have a water source under pressure, i just want to build my well above it but i cant, it says i need open space there. Sorry for the double post. Did not mean to, this was meant to go onto my previous. I just build a channel above the underground section and that fixed it.

Can I have adventurer mode and fortress mode going at the same time?  Not on the same save, but I want to try AM.

Just Create a New World, and once it's created, the start playing option will allow you to start an adventurer in the new world. Then you'll have two independent saves to choose between when you load a game.

That's probably where the Noble system came from in the first place - a cold hard calculation to save Dwarven civilization from thermonuclear politician brawls.
