Fellow Slaves,
It's me again, introducing yet another browser-based game! Now, some of you may feel Illyriad is too slow, so I thought we'd need a medium to funnel our rage online toward people we haven't even met yet in real life but we hate so much because they bumped off our caravans. My quest to search for a more war-oriented browser-based game led me to
Grepolis.
IntroductionI'd summarise the game into the following points:
- Setting: Ancient Greece; heavily involves gods' powers and seafaring.
- World map: Archipelago; the world consists of islands that may have a number of player-owned polis and some NPC-owned farm villages.
- Resources acquisition: Produced by your own buildings, raid NPC-owned farm villages (that WILL fight back), and/or raid other players' polis.
- Premium items: Not as balanced as Illyriad's, but not as game-breaking as Evony (i.e., instead of instant building construction, you can only cut down construction time); most premium items give bonus to production rate. I don't think they're bad enough to prevent us from playing.

Join Grepolis and help Buri (Elsior)! The following was the setting I used when I joined up.
- Username: Elsior (or rather, Lady Elsior; yes I'm role-playing a sekseh war-virgin)
- World: Eta (began 21 May 2010, the newest one among available options)
- Location: South East (because I came from SE Asia!)
AllianceApparently, it costs nothing to establish an alliance. So lo and behold,
Slaves to Armok alliance has been founded. I'll invite you guys once you join. Also, I can give each one of you a custom title without much hassle. The alliance settings and forum work much better than the ones in Illyriad.
