What do I do with all this food?

I have tons of food. Like, 4000 prepared meals, 5000 plants. I've been brewing drinks but the plants just keep coming in! Since most food processes into MORE FOOD, I don't know what to do! There's usually very little I want to trade for, as well. Should I just turn off some farms? Or should I just not worry?

Produce more. Show off your wealth while some 1-2 year fortresses are actually balancing on the edge of famine and sobering  8)

Take your old farmers, who must be legendary by now, enlist them into military, fulltime.
Pass on the farming tasks to some noob peasants. Should get your farming stocks down a bit, until they become better farmers.

You could try growing pig tails and dimple cups to make clothing and dye.
