Okay, that's a start if I want to get everybody killed. Actually, I DO want to get everybody killed, I'd just like to torture my goblin prisoners first. Would a troll make a good zoo animal? If not, can you think of any way to incorporate it into an elaborate deathtrap?

Make a 7x7 room, the cage with trolls in the middle, a lever that breaks the cage right next to it, convert the entire room to a burrow, assign all dwarves to it, after they get in wall them in, pull the lever.

Tame a GCS.  Use the troll to farm web.

Build a repeater and use the troll to run it.  The repeater can be linked to your atomizer, so your troll gets to continue to destroy stuff.

Build a special bedroom for your troll with an artifact bed.  Watch his frustration as he tries and fails to destroy the bed.

Build an artifact in your jail and bridges around it.  Let the troll wail on the artifact.  When you get a criminal, raise the bridges so your captain doesn't get spooked, then drop the bridges when your prisoner is safely chained and terrify him.

Give him a home underneath a bridge someplace.

Build a water-logic computer and clock.  Put it in charge of as much of your fortress as possible: irrigation, main gates, pied pipering the children inside every winter to a huge wall of constructions to be removed, timed animal slaughter, your doomsday device, set to go off if nobody crosses the dining room during any given day.  Then wall it off and drop the troll in.

I'll use at least one of them in a deathtrap of some kind. Is there any way I could get them to attack goblins as an execution? I'm guessing not. It could be useful for a repeater... What about taming? Possible?

I caught a zombie troll in a chasm in 40d, and kept it in a 40 x 40 pit where I'd throw goblins to it. The only problem was the dwarves would sometimes get scared when they saw the zombie troll and flee, escorting the goblins with them. Ideally I was going to have a wide angle trapdoor over the whole thing.

tame it and breed any army of war trolls, thats what im gonna do with mine,

also, i do have 3 GCS 1 male wild, 2 female tame, im gonna breed GCS too. im just thaat sick
