Which explains the fact that have such low genetic diversity, you share 99% of genes with someone on the other side of the world, compared to 75% between different groups of chimps. I know this info from somewhere, but forget the source exactly.

Still, bigger population also equals a more diverse gene pool, so we're not totally inbred. We're still inbred enough for the founder effect to come on strong though.
