Yeah, I didn't want to mention the holocaust, because I figured someone'd jump in and scream "GODWINS LAW" and so yeah. Also, it's on a much, much large scale than 9/11. That said, in the way it shaped people's perception of things and the world as well, it's a lot like 9/11, when you think about it - at least in those two areas.

It makes a good example, Godwin's Law or not. There are genocides with far higher body counts, but people think of the Holocaust as the worst of them anyway. It all comes down to public view.
