Brotherhood of Battle
« on: June 26, 2010, 03:09:33 pm »

So there's this interesting game called Brotherhood of Battle. It's pretty fun. You have five guys, and a fortress (except in one game mode). The five units are the Knight (very tough, has great damage), Ranger (not so tough, still good damage, ranged attack), Mage (bad damage, weakling, lowish range, but has useful Freeze attack), Rogue (weakest, melee, pretty good damage, can backstab or stealth for great damage), and the Priest (weakish, can do terrible damage or heal). You send them out to accomplish goals - kill the other guys, destroy their orb, hold a position for 10 turns, etc. You can also usually grab goldmines to get more gold, and use that gold to buy upgrades or units.

The only problem is the community. The community is absolutely terrible. Many will disconnect or surrender in the first few seconds of a game (they usually last 10 minutes to over an hour). Most of the rest will disconnect when they see that they're losing. The chat is filled with people swearing at each other and spamming for no apparent reason. I feel that I'm pretty good, but I haven't been able to finish a game in a long while because all my opponents disconnect. So I'm proposing we join, and play against each other, and not disconnect. Perhaps the game will be more fun this way.

Might try it out :)
